Informal investment

Providing financial resources is one thing; bringing years of (financial) knowledge and experience is another. This combination defines me as an investor. I evaluate investment proposals, for example in real estate, and then monitor the investment. I also help entrepreneurs, companies, and major shareholders when things aren't going well or when the sky's the limit. Because sometimes more money is needed to make dreams come true. Participation as a co-shareholder is also an option. The principle: sharing the upside pro-rata, but also managing the downside together. It's crucial that all parties have "skin in the game." In more challenging situations, it really matters, and you only truly get to know each other. (Continuing to) honor agreements and showing backbone and loyalty take on a new dimension. At times like these, you want a partner who will stand by your side no matter what.
